The Neuhaus Golf- und Strandhotel is located 3 km outside the city centre and can be easily reached by private or public transport.
The charming rooms are located in 2 buildings: the traditional main building and the 3-storey Residence next to it.


The well-known Restaurant Neuhaus is beautifully located by the shore at the eastern end of lake Thun. Enjoy the wonderful views of the mountain chains of the Därligen ridge and the Niesen from the veranda and the lakeside terrace.

For a good start of the day a rich breakfast buffet with products from the local region is served every morning.

The kitchen brigade prepares daily fresh, healthy and creative dishes. Delicious fresh fish (right from lake Thun if available) – steamed, fried or deep-fried are served. Wiener Schnitzel, medaillons of pork, calves liver and lamb specialities are planned for those who fancy meat dishes. Of course also vegetarian dishes and small portions are available.

Apart from iced coffee and Iced Chocolate Neuhaus, you can find a large selection of tempting desserts on the menu.

On weekdays a reasonably priced business lunch in addition to the à la carte dishes can be enjoyed. Menus of the week complete the fine selection.
Every Friday evening from May to September you will be pampered with the famous Neuhaus buffet.

This is a non-smoking restaurant. Smokers can meet in the lobby.


Extra and standard rooms are located in the traditional main building or in the annex.

Superior Rooms are all located in the 3-storey Residence (annex) right next to the main building.

The spacious family rooms as well as the single rooms are situated either in the Residence or in the main building.

Smoking is not permitted in the rooms. Rooms with level ramp access for disabled persons are available.


Enjoy memorable moments in Interlaken and the Jungfrau region with its 3 famous peaks - the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau.

You have the choice of pleasant walks through the nearby nature reserve or of longer hikes in the mountains on well-marked paths.

Lake Thun or Brienz offer scenic boat trips. In summer you can either relax at the lovely beach, take a refreshing swim in the clear water of the lake or enjoy windsurfing, sailing, wakeboarding, water skiing and banana boat riding.

In winter the Neuhaus hotel is also a convenient base for skiing in the Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren ski areas.

By train and bus:
The 2 railway stations Interlaken West or Ost are not far away from the hotel.
- From there, take the bus no. 21 (in direction Thun, 5-10 minutes) to the bus stop Neuhaus, which is only a few meters away from the hotel.

By boat:
The Neuhaus pier is located directly in front of the hotel. You can travel either from/to Interlaken West or Thun.

By plane:
The international airports of Zurich, Geneva and Basel are approx. 2,5 hours away from Interlaken. All the airports provide good train connections to Interlaken.
